BC Seniors Wildfire Relief Fund

Help More at Home Society support BC seniors affected by wildfires. Your donation can help provide essential items, mobility and medical supplies, food, transportation and other urgent support to seniors facing evacuation, displacement and recovery.

Help BC Seniors Affected by Wildfires

Imagine being told you have only minutes to leave your home.

Now imagine being 75 or 85 years old, living on a fixed income, and having to leave behind your walker, medications, medical supplies or belongings you've spent a lifetime building.

For many BC seniors affected by wildfires, evacuation is only the beginning. Some have been displaced from their communities. Some may have lost their homes and belongings. Others are suddenly facing unexpected expenses they simply don't have the means to absorb.

More at Home Society is raising funds to help seniors affected by BC wildfires.

Donations will support seniors impacted by the wildfires, as well as organizations working directly with displaced and affected seniors in their communities.

Your Donation Can Help

Funds raised may help provide:

  • Walkers, mobility aids and medical supplies
  • Medications and essential personal items
  • Food and transportation
  • Immediate needs following evacuation or displacement
  • Support for organizations assisting seniors in affected communities

For a senior who has just lost so much, replacing even one essential item can make the days ahead a little easier.
